Regional printing house Control P has commenced operations in Qatar with the acquisition of the HP Xljet5+ and HP Designjet 9000s for its Seventh Spectrum outlet in the country.

While the HP XLjet5+ renowned for its double-sided backlit printing is the first 5meter printer to be introduced in Qatar."
"We installed ONYX's ProductionHouse and PosterShop RIP software packages to drive all our printers, allowing the customer to colour manage print jobs better and offer consistent results irrespective of which printer they print on. Our in-house colour management team is also available to the customer, to provide them with operations support. It is with great pride that we add Seventh Spectrum to our list of clients in the region," he added.

Among the other benefits of the HP Designjet 9000s is excellent outdoor durability, a high speed dryer that accelerates drying time - which also contributes to improved job turnaround time, and enables long, unattended prints runs.
