Lebanon budget blow-out

Lebanon's budget deficit will blow out to 13.8% this year from 8% in 2005, according to an IMF projection. The IMF had believed the Lebanese economy was on track to grow 5% at the end of H1 2006, before the recent conflict before Israel and Hezbollah, Reuters reported. Next year, the IMF projects a deficit of more than 15% of GDP.
