Stations to cut taxi response time

Dubai taxis will be stationed at new residential developments in a bid to cut call response times, Gulf News reported. Taxi lay-bys will established at around 28 locations which have a high demand for pre-booked cabs, said a senior government official. Areas likely to have the service include the Springs, Meadows and Greens, Al Sufouh, Mirdiff , Jumeirah, Al Wasl and Garhoud.
