The annual festival, which is now on its 21th year, is Oman's longest-running and much-awaited shopping event. First organised by Omanexpo LLC in 1986, the Eid Festival lasts for nine days from the first day of Eid Al Fitr, making it an exciting destination for everyone celebrating the festive season.

'Going to the exhibition centre in Seeb for the Eid Festival has practically become a tradition for many families to enjoy the Eid holidays,' said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo, the leading exhibition organising company in the sultanate.

Paul revealed that this year's Eid Festival will truly be a shopper's dream as it will feature hundreds of products both from Oman and from other parts of the world. He added that everyone will surely have a great time shopping for garments, toys, beauty products, home decors, jewelries, beddings, perfumes, and handicrafts. Other products to be displayed at the festival include shoes and bags, baby products, kitchen equipment, carpets, fashion accessories, food products, furniture, and novelty items.

According to Paul, these products are not only of high quality but will also be available at highly affordable prices, something that all visitors should take advantage of. Visitors to the Eid Festival will also get a chance to win exciting prizes by simply going to the exhibition centre. In addition, a lot of fun-filled activities for the whole family, such as magic shows, face painting and musical performances, will be held as part of the festival.

The participation of a large number of international exhibitors who bring new products into the sultanate is another major reason why the Eid Festival is always worth checking out. This year, in addition to a strong presence of Omani companies, there will also be many exhibitors from China, Singapore, Iran, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, and the U.A.E.
