Among those participating in this year's event will be influential figures from business, government and civil society in the Arab world and internationally renowned politicians and business leaders.

Focusing on four distinct tracks - Governance, the CEO Agenda, Arab Society and Socio-Economic - the ASF has been revamped to better position itself as the leading Arab platform for strategic thinking and the main launch pad for regional programmes and initiatives, It has become a holistic, interactive medium to foster change and innovation.

Nabil Al Yousuf, Vice-Chairman, ASF Organising Committee, said:

"This year's ASF evolves to propose a new kind of experience. Its knowledge and results-driven program is based not only on speaker-led sessions, but primarily on intimate, information-led roundtable debates, scenario-building exercises, exclusive social gatherings and innovative technology."

"The program is designed and facilitated to enable participants to connect through the ASF to high-powered information networks and gain a keen insight into the outlook for the Arab world. Gala events and other exclusive events will provide more informal opportunities for participants to network with their peers."

Being developed under the theme, 'Creating Opportunity from Change', this year's sessions will be underpinned by bespoke knowledge and research on the Arab world, developed by the world's leading thought institutions such as INSEAD, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Eurasia Group and Cambridge Energy Research Associates.

The three-day program of working sessions will feature Arab and international heads of State and Government together with business leaders to create an interactive environment for development of the Arab world. It connects global and regional decision-makers to engage in a hands-on, comprehensive program along critical program tracks.

Through a powerful network, facilitated working sessions, state-of-the-art technology, exclusive knowledge and informal platforms, the ASF, which is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will provide participants with the tools they need to create opportunities for change in their own environments.

In addition to unique research and scenario workshops, the ASF program will be supported by specially developed interactive maps, reports, top 10 regional trends, surveys and indexes.
