Benetton unveils chic 'n' practical styles at Fusion 2006

Models displayed a range of trendy shorts, coloured tops and balloon skirts, in bright colours along with chic accessories that form part of Benetton's comprehensive collection of smart casual wear.

Targeting style-conscious buyers aged between 18 and 30 years, Benetton's participation in the three-day event drew a great response.

Commenting on Benetton's involvement, Anil Nair, Manager, Benetton, said: "Fusion 2006 reflects Dubai's status as the hub for fashion and textiles in the Middle East. We were confident that it would be an ideal place for Benetton to unveil its latest collection since our apparel and accessories reflect the enthusiasm and energy of the young generation."

He added that Fusion 2006 succeeded in its mission to serve as an important platform for exhibitors.

More than 15,590 visitors attended Fusion 2006, which showcased a variety of global brands. Organised by IIRME, Fusion 2006 was held at the Airport Expo, Dubai from September 21-23, 2006 featuring fashion shows, make-over zones, competitions, and chill-out lounges.

Benetton recently launched its 2006 Fall/Winter collection, which is now available at all Benetton outlets in the UAE, including Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, Jumeirah Centre in Dubai, and Abu Dhabi Mall.
