DCCI Director General receives trade commissioner of Chile

Abdulrahman G. Al Mutaiwee the Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry DCCI discussed with the trade commissioner of Chile, Mr. Jean Paul Kuborn, ways of enhancing and strengthening the commercial ties between the UAE and Chile.

The meeting discussed the current relations between the two countries, ways of coordination and cooperation in future to create further scope for the relationship, as well as increasing the bilateral trade. Both sides emphasized the wide range of opportunities available for both countries.

Al Mutaiwee explained that the relation is still active and DCCI continues to receive trade delegations and missions from Chile. He added that DCCI had sent a delegation to Chile in 1998 as part of a commercial assignment to Brazil and Argentina. He also added that inaugurating a direct flight between the UAE and Latin America will enhance the relations with Chile and other countries in Latin America.

The Trade Commissioner explained that his country is rich in natural resources that can develop and increase the bilateral trade with the UAE and it needs only promotional effort.
