Mideast, $6bn in property abroad

Middle East investors put $6bn into overseas property in H1 2006, with London and New York favoured locations, according to a report by Jones Lang LaSalle cited by Bloomberg. Investments in offices dominated, while funds were also put into the hotel and retail sectors. Almost half of the total investments in the US were in New York City.
