Sharjah International Airport confirms Alpha's winning 10 year contract

Sharjah International Airport is delighted to announce & confirm that after an international tender process, Alpha Airports Group Plc, one of the world's leading aviation support companies, has won a 10 yr contract with Sharjah International Airport.

This contract will provide exclusive flight catering and ancillary services to all airlines operating out of this rapidly expanding airport which is strategically located in the Arabian Gulf.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation for Sharjah said: "Sharjah International Airport is always committed to develop the airport's services and facilities to cope up with ever increasing challenges in the aviation field. We thank H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah for all the support he has given and his directions to make Sharjah International Airport a vital player in the region by its services and facilities and open policy approach".

Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammad Al Thani, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation for Sharjah, added:

"This is a significant agreement for Sharjah International Airport as we seek to increase our market share and to be able to offer the highest standards of service to our airport travelers is imperative. We are confident that the combination of Alpha's international experience and innovative solutions as a specialist support service provider will enhance our total service offering."
