Kerzner appoints Suresh Menon as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Atlantis, The Palm

Kerzner International Limited (the 'Company') announced the appointment of experienced human resources specialist Suresh Menon as Senior Vice President (SVP), Human Resources, Atlantis, The Palm.
"We are pleased to have a person with Suresh's background and experience in human resources to take on the major responsibility of developing and recruiting a leading team of hotel specialists for Atlantis," said Mr. Leibman. "We consider both customer satisfaction and human resources as top priorities. We know that when we take care of our employees, they in turn take care of our customers giving them an experience that they will not find anywhere else in the world. In appointing Suresh, we are sure that our new employees, through his development and support programmes will continue to fulfil our mission of exceeding our customers' expectations and ensure that we become the preferred resort employer on The Palm, Jumeirah".
As SVP of Human Resources, Menon will be responsible for Atlantis employees, managing remuneration & benefits, health & safety, residences, employee marketing, learning & development initiatives, talent development and the logistics of expatriation and repatriation into the United Arab Emirates. He will be working closely with the main business units within Atlantis, The Palm developing detailed human resources programmes for all employees across the entire project.

Menon joins the Company after his most recent assignment at TSA in Singapore, where he was Director of Operations for this renowned hospitality training company, which operates in Australia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and European markets. His role saw him manage and lead a dedicated team of 12 trainers who were situated across the region. He oversaw the quality of delivery of existing and new programmes, as well as designing revenue enhancement programmes for the sales division and front office. Also integral to his role, was the continued review, design and dissemination of their training programmes across the operating region.
