The Arab Health Congress is taking place from 29th January to 1st February 2007 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates.

Medical professionals who visit the exhibition will be given a DvD with five hours of CME from a range of eight topics. Having watched the DvD, the user can complete the CME questions via the IIR online CME program at www.iircme.com

Simon Page, Projects Director, Arab Health Exhibition, adds,

"Arab Health is always striving to provide the best medical education available to healthcare professionals as cost effectively as possible. Normally this is achieved through our extensive conferences, fifteen in 2007. After listening to the region's professionals we have come up with this new initiative that will guarantee that continuing medical education is freely available to all. The process is time friendly allowing professionals to choose the time and place to study."

Once the medical professional has successfully completed the on-line CME, the American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) will provide a certificate confirming completion of the course.

Simon Page, concludes, "The continuing education of healthcare practitioners helps ensure that doctors are kept up-to-date with advances in treatment methods and this benefit is ultimately translated into better standards of patient care."

Arab Health 2007 is supported by the UAE Ministry of Health (MoH), The Department of Health and Medical Services (DoHMS) and the General Authority of Health Services, Abu Dhabi (GHAS).
