Maryam bin Fahad, DPC Events Manager said: "We are pleased to collaborate with the Consulate General of Jordan as the Jordanian Cultural Nights hosted by us earlier have proved very popular with our members."
"The overwhelming response to the Ramadan activities and events encourages us to organize more activities for Dubai Press Club members. We are working towards revamping and developing the Club's activities to suit its role as an important link that brings together the media fraternity from all over the world."
Bin Fahad added:
"The Cultural Nights being hosted by the Dubai Press Club provide a platform to showcase the culture of different countries. At the same time, they offer an excellent opportunity for our media members to meet and network with senior officials and influential personalities of the country featured, in a relaxed social setting."
Dubai Press Club has planned a packed itinerary of events as part of its Ramadan calendar. It includes a weekly majlis, authentic heritage nights, and the Dubai International Backgammon Tournament, the first of its kind to be held in Dubai.
The Dubai Press Cub Ramadan events are sponsored by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dubai Properties.
