EEC, largest container port

Emaar the Economic City in Saudi Arabia will house the Middle East's biggest container port under plans to triple the area in for the $26.6bn project, Reuters reported. The port will have a capacity to handle 10m containers a year, on top of cargo and dry-bulk vessels. Dubai currently has the Middle East's largest port system.
