BSI visits Batelco in performance assessment mission

Batelco is working relentlessly to provide the highest level of quality performance towards maintaining ISO9001 accreditation.

Within this context, the globally recognised quality assurance body, the British Standards Institute (BSI) has recently concluded a five-day assessment visit to a number of Batelco departments.

"The BSI closely audited a number of departments and specific functions ranging from Quality and Business Processes to Business Planning," explained Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi.

"We are proud of the fact that the BSI has re-confirmed that all the departments still meet ISO 9001 standards and are dedicated to maintain it."

A full schedule for the five days included visits from the BSI auditing team to a number of departments including Quality and Business Processes, Business Planning, Customer Complaints for Consumers and Business, Voice of Customers VOC, Mobile Prepaid Product Process, (which covers Mobile Prepaid Product Management, Call Center, Prepaid Network, Treasury and Financial Services, Stores Services, Indirect Sales Channels and Retail Shop at GOSI).

"Having this certification means international recognition that we meet the highest global business performance standards. This will certainly enhance our commitment to deliver the best product, best services at the best prices to our customers in the Kingdom of Bahrain," said Mr. Al Janahi.

"The company thanks all Batelco staff for their effort and full cooperation. Maintaining this accreditation takes an enormous amount of dedication and commitment on top of an already heavy workload and Batelco appreciates the efforts of our employees in this task."
