Qatar's BMW Group importer, Alfardan Automobiles, receives Quality Management Award

Mr Omar Alfardan, President of Alfardan Automobiles, sole importer for BMW Group in Qatar has been presented with the coveted BMW Quality Management Assurance Award.

Quality Management Assurance (QMA) is a worldwide voluntary quality assurance programme designed to provide BMW importerships and dealerships with a framework of business standards enabling them to even further improve internal communications and efficiency of all internal processes, resulting in the further enhancement of customer loyalty and satisfaction. To achieve QMA certification, all management and staff had to complete a thorough 18 month programme. Unique to BMW, its cross departmental applications apply to the entire dealership with an ultimate goal of achieving an ever-stronger customer focus.

The final award score achieved in Qatar was one of the highest ever attained worldwide, and also applies to the Rolls-Royce, MINI and BMW Motorcycles businesses.

Upon receiving the award, Mr Omar Alfardan said:
"I am delighted to accept this hard earned award on behalf of my team. Such recognition from an organisation as professional, prestigious and efficient as BMW is something we can all be proud of. We will ensure that what was learnt from this programme will be utilised to its maximum and the benefits passed on to our loyal and valued customers".

Roy Burt, Chief Operating Officer of Alfardan Automobiles added "This is not the end of a project, but the beginning and we will all ensure that not only will we continue to maintain QMA in all our operations but strive to enhance its principles further, to more advanced levels".

Now in its 10th year, Alfardan Automobiles has an outstanding record of achievement in Qatar in partnership with BMW. Both the sales and aftersales operations consistently return the highest regional customer service satisfaction results which are obtained from extensive monthly Customer Relations audits. Many individual staff have also won regional performance programmes in their fields.

Robert Eichner concluded: "We are very pleased with our partnership with Alfardan Automobiles. They have always invested heavily in facilities and people and the excellent record of awards, such as today's QMA certification, is testimony to that commitment.
