Abdulla Kalban, DUBAL's CEO, accepted as member of International Who's Who Historical Society

IWWHS is one of the largest membership organizations worldwide with more than 80,000 international members. The directory was set up to recognize successful individuals in varying areas of expertise by listing them among their peers and to provide an international forum for networking, reference, and self promotion thus expanding their success. It is updated once a year.

HE Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Vice-Chairman of DUBAL, said: 'We are very proud of the distinguished recognition that DUBAL's CEO has received from this eminent society. This is very much in line with DUBAL's stated aim to further the progressive development of both the company and its work force. Mr. Kalban's citation is only a single example of how much international recognition DUBAL can achieve and achieved.

Mr. Kalban who joined DUBAL in 1985 and rose from the ranks, is graduate in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven, US. He is currently the Director in International Aluminium Institute (IAI), UK; member of TMS (Author, Co-Author and Presenter) The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society - part of American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME) US, and an advisory member in the Engineering Faculty at the UAE University. Moreover, he is also on the board of several leading organizations in the UAE.

On the international recognition, Mr. Kalban said: 'This honour is an acknowledgment for DUBAL's international status, Dubai's tremendous success among the global community and the UAE's status as a country of world class professionals. As an IWWHS member I will strive harder to raise the country's stature in international forums.'
