DCCI asks clients to submit their service applications early
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 15 - 2006 at 15:40
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) yesterday started implementing its new electronic service system which will enable its members and exporters to register for membership or issue certificates of origin directly online.
The DCCI's management, and due to the time the new electronic service system needs to be fully implemented, asked its clients to speed up in submitting their application before 10 am so that the DCCI staff would be able to fulfill them the same day, whereas the applications that are presented to the DCCI staff after 10 am could only be collected the next day.
The implementation of the new system comes in the line of the DCCI's new strategy which aims at coping with the outstanding economic development of Dubai's business sectors, as well as the gradual increase in the number of the DCCI's members, as its headquarters issues more than 1500 certificates of origin per day.
The DCCI's branches in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, the Department of Economic Development (DED), and the DCCI's office in Al Tawar area, will be closed during the coming days of Ramadan and will be opened again after Eid Al Fitr.
