i2 buys Allied TC

Mobile phone provider i2 has acquired Allied TC, a London-based GSM handset provider. The acquisition will allow i2 to pass the 12m mark in handset sales by the end of 2007, the company said in a statement. The deal gives i2 access to European markets through Allied TC.
