Better Life reports 170 per cent growth in project business

  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 18 - 2006 at 14:33
  • PRESS RELEASE

Better Life, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group's specialist home appliance division, has won contracts to fit-out more than 6,000 apartments in the UAE with built-in appliances.

This translates into a 170 per cent increase in its project business compared to the same period last year.

The significant increase in business further consolidates Better Life's popularity among developers and home owners as a leading provider of innovative home solutions. The company represents popular built-in appliance brands such as German brand Siemens, Zanussi from Electrolux, Italy, and Fisher & Paykel from New Zealand.

Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said that the demand for Better Life solutions had jumped following the boom in freehold projects being launched in the UAE.

"In the past, residents did not pay much attention to their home interiors. With the announcement of the freehold law, people are investing in their homes. This has led to an increase in demand for stylish yet functional kitchens."

"For developers, we offer the widest choice of quality built-in appliances available in the market. We also offer them the comfort of a highly evolved after sales service set-up meeting their foremost concern. Our experience in handling projects has grown over the years, and we work closely with developers helping them anticipate potential problems and avoid delays," he pointed out.

The company is currently equipping more than 2500 apartments of the Old Town District and Residences of Burj Dubai with Siemens and Zanussi built-in appliances. Other prestigious projects include 377 managed apartments of the prestigious World Trade Centre Residences on Sheikh Zayed Road, 950 apartments at the Marina Promenade and 300 apartments in Indigo Towers, Jumeirah Lake Towers.

"Built-in appliances can be integrated into the kitchen environment to make the best use of available space without compromising on functionality or appearance. As lifestyles are changing, built-in kitchens are gaining popularity in the interior design market for furnished apartments in the UAE," Dayal added.

Launched in October 2003 by the Easa Saleh Al Gurg group, Better Life is the only specialist home appliances chain in the UAE with a growing portfolio of world-class brands such as Electrolux, Terim, Admiral, Wolf, Vestfrost and Ufesa.

Better Life also sells a comprehensive range of Siemens, Fisher & Paykel, Zanussi built-in appliances and Alno kitchens.
