This is an introductory module of an elaborate Banking training program.
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, Chief Manager, Group Affairs at Emirates Bank Group said, 'Emirates Bank Group introduced the pilot Banking English to have the support and services necessary for the trainees with special abilities to become productive members in the UAE business society, and enable them to build successful careers at Emirates Bank.'
Mr. Al Mazroui continued, 'During the programme, trainees experience the practical use of the English language in banking products, procedures and services.'
The successful completion of the course was marked by a group presentation at GTC which was attended by Mr. Naser Ali Aziz Maktoom, the Rehabilitation Centre General Manager, a team from HR managers Emirates Bank Group and Global Training Centre training staff. The trainees confidently presented their newly acquired knowledge to an appreciative audience.
Mr. Naser encouraged all the trainees and said, 'Our trainees with special abilities can contribute to society as much as anybody else and they can be a strong asset to the UAE business society.'
Mr. Naser added, 'This achievement is an excellent example for other trainees at the institute.'
The pilot will continue to include Global English, banking operations, delivering excellent customer services courses for a period of 6 months as part of their on-job training program. This pioneering effort which reflects Emirates Bank Group socially responsible role is a contribution to ensure that persons with special abilities in the UAE who join Emirates Bank Group are equipped to handle their banking career.
Emirates Bank Group trainees with special abilities complete english course
A group of 11 Emirates Bank Group trainees from the Rehabilitation & Employment Center for Disabled People have successfully completed a one month pilot intensive Banking English Course at the Global Training Centre (GTC), Emirates Bank.
