Extending the robot theme of the eye-catching and innovative TV commercial for the GMC Yukon, the web-site enables customers to go on-line and become even more familiar with the brand, interacting with the latest products in a truly unique and stimulating way.

The dedicated site is already live, offering visitors a whole new level of access to GMC Yukon products in visual appeal, as well as dynamic functionality. Ease-of-use is the key feature of the web-site, enabling the visitors to navigate themselves quickly around to see the main features and benefits of the technology associated with the brand.

Available in English and Arabic, the futuristic looking site, with high quality graphics and links including informative visual cut-aways, opens to a stylised homepage featuring the familiar robots from the TV campaign before taking the visitor on an interactive journey to discover the All-New 2007 Yukon range as seen through the eyes of one of the robots.

A central menu guides the visitor along the path to uncovering three key elements of the Yukon range: power, refinement and safety. A visit to the power section provides information on the advantages of the active fuel management system and descriptions of the engines that power the Yukon range along: the all conquering and class leading Vortec 5.3 L and 6.2 L V8 engines.
If that's not cool enough, a unique vision de-fragmentor facility in the section about vehicle refinement allows the visitor to click-on exterior and interior images and access informative detail about the DVD infotainment system, seating arrangements and experience first hand the enhanced quietness offered by the Yukon.

The exterior view of the vehicle also links the visitor to interactive visuals about stand-out features such as the remote start and the rear tail gate lift, while a really useful feature allows the visitor to see how their Yukon will look in a choice of metallic brand colours.

Turning to the section on safety, the visitor can experience in impressive graphic detail the outstanding braking power and shorter stopping distance ability of the Yukon - again through robotic eyes. This section is also jampacked with loads of information about the benefits of the Stabili-Trak stability and control system and diagrams highlighting air bag configurations.

Yukoncommandsrespect.com incorporates links to enable the visitor to request a brochure or arrange a test drive at the click of a (mouse) button. There's also links to www.gmarabia.com, a 'locate a dealer' enabler and a button for downloading PDFs of vehicle spec sheets quickly.

Thierry Sabbagh, Middle East regional marketing manager for GMC, said: "The launch of the new generation of Yukon was one of the most eagerly anticipated this year and it's only fitting that we now have a comparable quality web-site for our customers that reinforces this."

"yukoncommandsrespect.com is a very exciting development for the brand and with its many easy-to-use, beneficial and innovative features will enable customers to enjoy and experience our products better than ever before."
