No UAE fuel surcharge cut

The UAE's airlines will not be reducing fuel surcharges in the immediate future despite the drop in oil prices, reported Gulf News. Some international carriers such as Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airlines have sliced up to Dhs40 off their per flight surcharges. Emirates, which charges up to Dhs640 in fuel surcharges, is to assess aviation fuel prices before making a decision, while Etihad and Air Arabia will also watch developments.
