- france: Saturday, October 21 - 2006 at 08:31
Airbus will need to sell 50% more A380 superjumbos in order to cover additional costs due to the two year delay in delivery of the aircraft, reported the AFP. The manufacturer also revealed that profitability could drop by up to a third to 13%. Meanwhile, rival Boeing has stated that its mid-size Dreamliner is on schedule and will hit the market several years ahead of Airbus's alternative, the A350.
