The month long program which captured the imagination of all thanks to its wide array of activities tailored for families, will come to an end with the third day of Eid celebrations.
'Ramadaniat Al Qasba 2006, which has been organised for the second time by the Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority has been a great success this year thanks to the plethora of activities, including some of the old as well as many new ones introduced.,' said Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority.
'With more visitors enjoying all we had to offer this year, a lot of credit for its success goes to our support sponsors Sharjah Islamic Bank, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, KIA Motors, Bridgestone (Nasser Bin Abdulatif Al Serkal), Sharjah TV, Noor Dubai 93.9 FM, Air Arabia, Direct Concept and Third Eye.
'As a pleasurable conclusion to such a delightful month, a fantastic Eid Al Fitr celebration that would begin on the first day of Eid has been planned for. We hope that visors will further enjoy Eid as an array of activities have been organised to suit both the young and the old,' he added.
The Eid celebrations at QAQ this year will include a spectacular display of fireworks on the first day of Eid starting at 9pm. Traditional Arabic bands will also entertain the crowds with their performances daily at the Zaman Awal heritage area beginning at 8.30pm.
One of the highlights of the Eid celebrations would be the grand raffle draw for the Fawazeer Al Qasba riddle winner, which is sponsored by KIA Motors on the third day of Eid. The winner will receive a KIA Carnival car after the raffle draw at 9.30pm.
To add more fun to the festive atmosphere, the celebration will include a number of stilt walkers, clowns and roaming magic shows to thrill visitors with their various antics and activities.
Besides the special Eid activities, the Zaman Awal heritage event, Book Boulevard and the Fun Zone will continue receiving visitors starting from 5pm during the three days of Eid. Visitors can also enjoy the scrumptious cuisines offered by various restaurants flanking the canal in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Or for an exhilarating experience, they could take a ride on the Eye of the Emirate. And for a prefect ending, visitors can enjoy a ride under the stars in the QAQ Abra tour along the peaceful canal.

Qanat Al Qasba will celebrate with its visitors an unforgettable Eid this year as a finale to its Ramadaniat Al Qasba program.
