Irancell offers services

Irancell, Iran's second private mobile operator in which South Africa's MTN holds a 49% stake, has begun selling mobile services in three cities according to the IRNA and cited by Reuters. The service is available in Tehran, Tabriz and Mashad and it is hoped MTN SIM cards will be sold in 50 cities by next March. It was reported yesterday that MTN was awaiting pricing approval from Iran's regulators.
