Batelco Networks & Technology General Manager Ebrahim Zainal gave an opening address on the first day of each group's Bootcamp. This was followed by NGN lectures and demonstrations carried out by various Huawei staff. The course content included system overviews, hardware services and network applications for Softswitch, MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching), MSAN (Multi Services Access Network and NMS (Network Management System).

The company is Batelco's partner in rolling out the next generation telecommunication network in Bahrain.
"The Bootcamps form an integral part of Batelco's future plans that will see all Batelco services migrated to the Next Generation Network (NGN) Infrastructure," said Batelco Networks & Technology General Manager Ebrahim Zainal.
