Batelco staff attend NGN Bootcamp

Batelco recently held two NGN (Next Generation Network) Bootcamps in co-operation with Huawei at the Company's Hamala Headquarter's Training Centre.

The comprehensive two day courses were attended by over 60 Batelco engineers and technicians to provide the opportunity for them to attain competence in managing Huawei NGN products.

Batelco Networks & Technology General Manager Ebrahim Zainal gave an opening address on the first day of each group's Bootcamp. This was followed by NGN lectures and demonstrations carried out by various Huawei staff. The course content included system overviews, hardware services and network applications for Softswitch, MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching), MSAN (Multi Services Access Network and NMS (Network Management System).

Huawei Technologies is a leader in next generation telecommunication network provision and is committed to providing innovative and customised products, services and solutions to create long-term value and potential growth for its customers. The company is Batelco's partner in rolling out the next generation telecommunication network in Bahrain.
