Indian scientists have managed to extract juice from the buckthorn berry, believed to be good for the heart, the BBC reported. Sea buckthorn is a known source of cholesterol-lowering compounds, but extracting its juices was difficult. Using high speed centrifugation, the researchers separated the juice from the solid sludge, leading to potential treatments to prevent clogging of the arteries.
