Nakheel ponders cheaper housing

Nakheel is studying plans to integrate "affordable housing" into its future developments - meaning properties would be pegged at rental levels affordable for low-income earners, CEO Chris O'Donnell told Emirates Today. Meanwhile, the developer will have 3,000 of 3,900 apartments and villas on its high-end Palm Jumeirah development ready for handover by April 2007, Gulf News reported. The handover process starts at the end of November this year.
