CMCS hosts Qatar edition of Project and Risk Management Roadshow

In continuation with its series of roadshows, Collaboration Management and Control Solutions (CMCS), the leading provider of project portfolio information management in the Middle East, today announced that the Qatar edition of its Project and Risk Management Roadshow would be held on November 1, 2006 at Movenpick Hotel, Doha.

The roadshow aims at showcasing the host of new and enhanced features, functionalities and benefits of Primavera 5.0 as well as provide a detailed view on the Primavera Project Planner 3.1.

Primavera 5.0 is a project management tool that allows users to plan and control projects with a high degree of accuracy, keeping them on time and under budget through the capture and reuse of best practices. In addition to showcasing Primavera 5.0, the roadshow will highlight tools and methodologies to help organizations, large and small, address critical project risks to maintain constant growth.

Bassam Samman, CEO and founder of CMCS says, "Organizations today face stiff competition and are under constant pressure to deliver quality outputs while minimizing costs and projecting increased profits. Involuntarily, this leads to a complex management structure, which could have many hindrances to achieve the required goal. The Project and Risk Management Roadshow helps introduce organizations to the advanced features and benefits of Primavera 5.0 and also provide insights into how the above challenges can be successfully overcome."

Primavera 5.0 creates a collaborative environment through its set of integrated components with easy-to-use, personalized interfaces for all project stakeholders. The latest version includes the addition of a number of new features including storage of all projects in a single database, allowing greater flexibility to view, manage, and analyze, as well as the ability to track and unravel multiple float paths.

It also provides enhanced graphical reporting features like multiple formattable curtains, and new features and enhancements will continue to be added to with each successive release. While Primavera 5.0 is capable of handling an unlimited number of users and projects, it is also perfectly suited for single-user or small group installations.

Since 1984, CMCS has been Primavera Authorized Representative (PAR) in the Middle East and has received more than 40 awards for achievements and performance excellence. CMCS is also a Premier Primavera Solution Provider (PSP) and Certified Primavera Trainer (CPT). CMCS offers complete project management solutions for Engineering and Construction, Maintenance and Turnaround, Information Technology and Professional Services and New Product and Services Development industries.

The successful regional tour was kicked off in Dubai in May, and was followed by the last event held in September at Abu Dhabi, which witnessed combined participation from over 200 experts from IT, Oil & Gas, Engineering & Construction, and Professional Services domains. The upcoming destination for the roadshow will be the Movenpick Hotel Qatar on November 1st, before concluding at the Palm Hotel Kuwait on December 3rd.
