Founded in 1987 with a single product offering, Kingston® now offers more than 2,000 memory products that support nearly every device that uses memory, from computers, servers and printers to MP3 players, digital cameras and cell phones. In 2005, the company's sales exceeded US$3.0 billion for the first time since its foundation, a 22 per cent increase on 2004 revenues.
According to Antoine Harb, Kingston Technology's Business Development Manager for the Middle East, the meeting will brief the attendees on the company's results for 2006, as well as corporate and marketing strategies for 2007: 'As well as covering the strategic side of the business, we will be talking about news relating to our product range and technology developments,' he says.
'We expect a strong response to the meeting and Gitex creates the perfect opportunity for us to combine our briefing with the region's biggest IT exhibition. The fact that this is the first time we have brought together all our channel partners, and that we have the regional Vice president leading the briefing, reflects the increasing importance of the Middle East and the potential that it offers, and Kingston Technology's commitment to the region.'
Kingston manufactures a variety of memory products to address many different customer requirements, from RAM memory to compact flash and secure digital. The entire Kingston product range is available in the Middle East.
