AAC's launch of all-new Nissan Altima sets new benchmark for value and safety

With targeted 20% lower running costs than competitors and 18% improved fuel efficiency over the previous generation, the value offered by all-new Altima sets new standards in its class.

Since its recent regional launch, all-new Altima has been awarded the highest 5-star safety rating by the globally recognised National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) of the United States of America. The criteria of this test program have recently been raised, making the assessment even more stringent than previously. Consequently, All-new Altima's occupants can travel in confidence knowing the strength of its body structure and effectiveness of standard safety features have been proven. Those seeking extra reassurance can choose optional technologies, such as Blind Spot Warning.

Altima has carved its own niche in the mid-size segment and the 2013 model retains the core DNA which defines its character. While Nissan's renown build quality, durability and reliability is ensured, as are value and low running costs, all-new Altima also offers driving pleasure with outstanding ride quality and improved handling, thanks to Active Trace Control (ATC) which stops the car running wide through corners. Two engine options are also available, a 182hp 2.5-litre and a 270hp 3.5-litre V6 which is mated to the next generation Xtronic CVT transmission.
