Abu Dhabi approves addressing and place naming project

The executive committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council has approved a project for addressing, directional signs, and place naming, Wam has reported. The project aims to help authorities, services providers and even individuals to reach their destinations easily and identify location of government and non-government buildings. The committee has tasked the Department of Municipal Affairs to contract a consultant and supervise the development of navigation and electronic systems and geographical data base.
