Abu Dhabi bourse gains the 4th day straight as market implements BCC for DVP

The ADX General Index advanced 0.64% to hit 3,339.86 points. Earlier in the day, the ADX announced that it has proceeded with the implementation of the enhancements to its Delivery Versus Payment (DvP) model with the Buyer Cash Compensation (BCC) on Sunday the 5th of May. The improvement is a key factor in achieving emerging market status as donned by MSCI. Market bellwether Etisalat surged 2.61% to close at Dhs11.80, the highest level since Oct. 18 2010.
