Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announces appointment of Gerry Grimstone as adviser to its Board of Directors

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC (ADCB) announces that it has appointed Gerry Grimstone as adviser to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Grimstone is also the Chairman of The City UK, the representative body for the financial and professional services industry in the UK.
He is Lead Non-Executive Director of the UK Ministry of Defence and is an Independent Non-Executive Board Member of Deloitte LLP.
Mr. Grimstone was previously a senior investment banker at Schroders and ran businesses in London, New York and Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he was an official in HM Treasury where he was responsible for privatisation and policy towards state-owned enterprises.
Mr. Grimstone has held a number of Board appointments in the public and private sectors and has served as one of the UK's Business Ambassadors. He helped oversee HM Treasury's Operational Efficiency Programme, is UKTI's Special Representative to India for Financial Services and sits on the Board of the UK Government's Shareholder Executive.
Mr. Grimstone replaces Lord Davies of Abersoch as adviser to the Board of ADCB, whose term of appointment recently expired. He will attend Board meetings and advise on all aspects of the Bank's business including strategy.
