Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank named headline sponsor of the 2012 Emirates Woman Awards

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, (ADCB), today announced its sponsorship of the Emirates Woman of the Year Awards for the fourth consecutive year. Through its partnership with INSEAD Abu Dhabi, and with the creation of the ADCB Ambition Award, the bank once again reaffirms its commitment to supporting the ambitious goals of women in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Nadia Khalid Abdulrahman, Head, Corporate Credit & Credit Operations commenting on the bank's sponsorship of the Award, said "At ADCB we understand what ambition means, we understand the hard work and determination it takes for women to go about starting their own businesses, take on leadership positions and work to improve their communities. It is with this in mind that we created the ADCB Ambition Award, in association with the Emirates Woman of the Year Awards, an award that celebrates and recognises the important role women play in the development of the UAE economy and indeed their effort to enrich their communities."
She added, "It is an honour and a privilege to be sponsors of this award for the fourth year in a row, we are the bank that supports ambition and we hope that this award and the candidates stories will empower the next generation of women in the UAE."

The nominations are now open for the ADCB Ambition Award in association with INSEAD. The Award calls for ambitious women with an entrepreneurial spirit and great business idea. Further information and next steps for entry can be found on emirateswomanawards.com.
Candidates who enter have a chance of winning US$10,000 from ADCB to go towards their business, business advisory support from ADCB with dedicated relationship management, a place on one of INSEAD's entrepreneurial electives, which is part of the INSEAD Global Executive MBA, AED 2,000 worth of shopping vouchers from BurJuman and a year subscription to Emirates Woman and Gulf Business.
This year's Emirates Woman of the Year Awards will take place on the 19th November, with over 350 VIPs attending the event. The winner of the ADCB Ambition Award will be announced at the event, and the nomination process can be tracked on emirateswomanawards.com.
