Abu Dhabi Duty Free reports record profits in 2012

Abu Dhabi Airports Co (Adac) has announced the Abu Dhabi Duty Free retail revenue rose 24% year-on-year in 2012 to a record $220m. The figures reflect an increase in both spend per passenger and average transaction value during 2012, which Adac said was due to an "attractive combination of the retail mix, a variety of luxury brands and the promotional campaigns of the retail operators."
