Abu Dhabi health authority shuts two clinics

The Health Authority — Abu Dhabi (HAAD) has temporarily shut down two clinics in the emirate of Abu Dhabi for using unclean sterilisation equipment, Gulf News has reported. The Noor Al Ain Medical Centre (not associated with Al Noor Hospital) in Al Ain and the Royal Dental Clinic in Abu Dhabi city, have been closed for a month and instructed to change all their sterilisation equipment during the period. In addition to the two clinics, Dalma Pharmacy has also been temporarily closed for allowing an individual without proper certifications to dispense medicines, HAAD said.
