Abu Dhabi health officials trained on managing diseases outbreaks

The Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) has organised a training session for health care and disaster management professionals on how best to respond to an emergency or infectious disease outbreak, Gulf News has reported. The four-day course has identified stringent planning, risk assessment and coordination as key to managing an outbreak of a communicable disease. It was also attended by officials from the Oman ministry of health, the HAAD said.
