Pupils discover how specially designed cells can be used to store the powerful energy and weigh up whether hydrogen can compete with battery power by building their very own model hydrogen-powered car. This hands-on workshop is also part of the many Festival's exciting 'Green Energy' themed activities, which has students competing against each other in several workshops such as the Introductory Wind Turbines and Advance Wind Turbines workshops, where children design and test turbines, seeing who has mastered the wind and can generate the most electricity.
Temperatures rise at the explosive and fiery Future Energy Show, as visitors are enthralled by the dynamic future of clean energy and also discover that world-class research is happening right here in the UAE!
