Abu Dhabi Terminals seeks recruits at upcoming exhibition

The Tawdheef Recruitment Show Abu Dhabi will be held fromthe 29th to the 31st of January at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the capital.

ADT's facilities include the recently opened Khalifa Port Container Terminal, the only semi-automated container terminal in the Middle East. The company will be one of at least 54 majoremployers form the UAE's public and private sectors enticinglocal talentand driving Emiratisation of the workforce at the event.

"ADT is one of the most exciting prospects for Emiratis who want to get involved in an organisation that is emerging on the global stage," said Eisa Al Marzouqi, Senior Human Relations Director at ADT.

"We put a lot of emphasis on developing the leaders of tomorrow through initiatives such as personal development programmes and individual tutoring."

Mr Al Marzouqi added: "We manage and operate Khalifa Port Container Terminal, the most technologically advanced terminal in the Middle East. The automation employed at the facility is changing the nature of port work and creating hi-tech jobs that are attracting nationals to the industry.We already have young Emiratis working in the Terminal Operating Building - the electronic brain of the port - as Remote Operating Station operators."

ADT's Emiratisation programme received national attention last year when media outlets descended on Khalifa Port to interview Abeer al Mheiri, an 18-year-old woman Emirati who has trained to operate the region's only automated stacking cranes at the new facility.
