Abu Khader Group implements a project to support renewable energy and environment

Believing in the importance of approaching developing projects and keeping up with the latest energy sector, Abu Khader Group is pleased to announce the installation and operation of a 25 kWp grid connected solar system in Abu Khader Group in Mecca Street.
The 25 kWp system was installed by "Mustakbal clean tech", a specialist in solar systems and photovoltaic (PV), which works on converting photovoltaic into electrical energy. The system is considered among the first grid connected systems of its size in Amman and is linked based on the regulations recently issued by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and implemented with the approval of Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO), allowing Abu Khader Group to the feed excess energy into the grid and bid on it with the electricity company, which was an important factor in the economic feasibility of the project.
Expressing his delight for the success of the project, Mr. Nicola Abu Khader - CEO of Abu Khader Group said "We are happy to be among the first businesses in Jordan to adopt Solar Systems and we encourage other private sector businesses to implement similar projects for its environmental & ecological advantages, and we are ready to share the results of our experience."
Mr. Taher Al-Husseini - General Manager of Abu Khader Automotive (Leading Vehicles Company) added "This initiative will be a start to other environmental & ecological projects that aim on saving energy and enhancing the preservation of the environment, in addition to saving a great amount of electricity cost, reflecting the company's policy in minimizing operating expenses".
