ACCA appoints new regional Director for MENASA

The new Regional Director for MENASA (Middle East, North Africa and South Asia) for ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is Stuart Dunlop.
After graduating from university, Stuart Dunlop worked in the City of London, including at the London Stock Exchange, where he held several commercial roles. He joined the Reuters Group in 1992 and held sales and marketing management positions in South Africa, Switzerland, London and finally Dubai.
He has spent ten years in the Middle East, initially heading up the Sales and Marketing function for Reuters and latterly establishing the Thomson Reuters Professional business - which includes legal and scientific businesses - in the region.
ACCA has developed its team in the region over the past months, appointing a number of new country heads - Susie Isaacson in the UAE; Ritu Nanda as head of Oman and Qatar and Anis Motorwala as Head of the Northern Gulf, who join a number of established national heads in the region, including Arif Masud Mirza Head of ACCA Pakistan
Stuart Dunlop said "I am delighted to have been appointed as Regional Director - MENASA. I am excited by the prospect of working with the team across this diverse and increasingly influential region to develop the services we provide to members and students and to look at how we can work more closely with employers."
