ACCA appoints new regional Director for MENASA

Stuart Dunlop, who is based in Dubai, will be responsible for ACCA's services to more than 40,000 students and over 2,000 members in the region, leading and managing ACCA's teams which are based in Oman, Pakistan and the UAE and which also cover Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen.

After graduating from university, Stuart Dunlop worked in the City of London, including at the London Stock Exchange, where he held several commercial roles. He joined the Reuters Group in 1992 and held sales and marketing management positions in South Africa, Switzerland, London and finally Dubai.

He has spent ten years in the Middle East, initially heading up the Sales and Marketing function for Reuters and latterly establishing the Thomson Reuters Professional business - which includes legal and scientific businesses - in the region.

ACCA has developed its team in the region over the past months, appointing a number of new country heads - Susie Isaacson in the UAE; Ritu Nanda as head of Oman and Qatar and Anis Motorwala as Head of the Northern Gulf, who join a number of established national heads in the region, including Arif Masud Mirza Head of ACCA Pakistan
