Adenium Energy Capital acquires Bright Power Group's Solar pipeline

Adenium Energy Capital is pleased to announce that the group will be acquiring Bright Power Group's pipeline of solar power projects that Bright Power Group has built over the last three years.

Along with this pipeline, Mr. Jeremy Crane, owner and principal of Bright Power Group will be joining Adenium as the Chief Operating Officer.

Adenium's Chairman, Mr. Safwan Kuzbari, stated "Mr. Crane has over a decade of experience in the development, construction and financing of renewable energy projects, particularly in the wind and solar industries. The appointment of Mr. Crane as Chief Operating Officer will strengthen Adenium's team to identify and secure yielding renewable energy projects and investment opportunities for our investors."

"The pipeline of solar projects consists of strong North American opportunities that will form the foundation of Adenium's growth in the region" added Adenium's Chief Executive Officer Mr. Wassef Sawaf.

Mr. Crane has joined Adenium's on November 1st and will be based out of Adenium's Dubai headquarters. He added "Adenium's strong track record as a solar investor in both developing and operating facilities is an exciting platform from which I will help build the largest Middle-East renewable IPP."

Adenium Energy Capital was launched in early 2010 as an investment company, specializing in the investment and development of clean energy and alternative energy - related sectors.

Adenium's mandate is to build a diversified global portfolio of clean energy assets with an initial focus on the European, Middle Eastern and North American solar markets.

Mr. Jeremy Crane is an energy investment expert. He has worked on projects around the world. As a co-founder of Bright Power Group, he capitalized on the Ontario FIT market, rapidly securing over $15m of solar projects, then built a team capable of growing this to a current potential of over $200m.

Previously Mr. Crane built and operated a Honduran electrical utility and a phone service provider.

Mr. Crane has also been a strategy Consultant at Bain and Company, holds a MBA from INSEAD and a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.
