Building on three years of a successful partnership, Adidas and the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon have once again joined forces for this year's marathon, to be held on 25th January 2013.

Named as the official outfitter for the region's flagship certified IAAF Gold Label running event and with over 60 years of sporting heritage and running expertise, Adidas will provide all participants, marathon officials and volunteers with commemorative Adidas apparel that has been exclusively designed for the occasion.

All registered runners will also receive an official Adidas race shirt, created exclusively for Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon with Adidas' signature technology, ClimaCool, which helps runners to stay cool and ventilated throughout their race. With leading body temperature control technology, the shirt provides outstanding breathability and moisture management, designed for cooler training - to keep runners at their best throughout the marathon.

When it comes to running Adidas has a simple philosophy - to inspire and enable runners on all levels with perfect footwear and apparel to suit every runner and every terrain. Having sponsored a number of international marathons such as the Berlin Marathon, the London Marathon and the New York City Marathon, Adidas' aim is to help you run better and bring all athletes closer and faster to the finish line.

Beyond supplying all official Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon apparel, Adidas will be represented by and support an elite group of high performance athletes that have collectively completed more than 80 marathons worldwide.

These internationally renowned running stars and exclusive Adidas global assets will once again showcase the continued commitment of Adidas as a serious technical running brand with innovative technology that supports the ambitions of the world's leading athletes.

Having trained with Adidas' exclusive adizero range of lightweight running footwear that is designed for long distance running, these athletes have covered thousands of kilometres with the likes of the adiZero Feather, Tempo and Adios enabling them to reach their goals successfully.
