Adobe launches new reseller programme

  • United Arab Emirates: Thursday, February 14 - 2013 at 16:19
  • PRESS RELEASE

Adobe Systems Incorporated announced a new Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme, a simple and easy-to-join programme that will offer more compelling incentives and rewards to the most active resellers. The new programme will become effective from March 1st 2013 across UAE.

Adobe will provide its current ecosystem of resellers with a simple, consistent structure that rewards resellers who increase their knowledge of Adobe technologies and are motivated to illustrate these to their customers, whether these are small, medium or large sized enterprises.

"The partners that are of the greatest interest to us are those who serve their customers as trusted advisors in their respective markets," said Jacob Alex, Channel Account Manager for MENA at Adobe.

"With our new channel programme we have the optimal structure to work better and more closely with our partners."

It is free to join as a Registered Reseller; resellers can simply sign-up online. In order to receive the significant benefits offered by the next level in the programme, Certified Reseller, partners can attend free, self-paced online training courses and exams to attain the relevant certification.

The programme also includes two further levels for resellers who wish to work more closely with Adobe in planning and developing their business - Gold and Platinum.

Deal Registration is one of the main highlights of the program as it enables Adobe to compensate partners for their pre-sales efforts.

The partner that registers the deal is the partner that gets the rebate - not necessarily the reseller who closes the sale.

This incentive will turn most sales opportunities into a significantly more profitable sales engagement that will reward high-performing resellers. The Deal Registration is reserved for resellers at the Certified and above level in the programme.

"The Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Program is built around four principles: encouraging active selling, engaging at the distributor level, managing the channel in new ways and elevating the conversations about Adobe technologies with the end user. In the past we have offered individual bonuses or incentives, but Adobe is now presenting its resellers with the opportunity to participate in a highly integrated and comprehensive program that will reward resellers proportionally for their level of commitment in selling Adobe products," said Arseny Tarasov, Regional Manager, CIS, Turkey & ME for Adobe Systems.

"Tools like the Deal Registration make actively selling Adobe products even more attractive and allow resellers to significantly increase their sales and profitability with support from Adobe."

All Adobe authorized distributors will be able to offer the Adobe Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP), to all resellers at the Certified and above level, thus strengthening their relationships with these key and specialized partners. Distributors will be actively involved in Adobe's activities to create, enable and expand the reseller ecosystem, as well as carrying out new and exciting marketing and market development activities that will benefit resellers at all levels.
