- PRESS RELEASE
Abu Dhabi Systems Integration (ADSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SELEX Sistemi Integrati for the provision of software, engineering and system integration activities in the GCC. SELEX Sistemi Integrati, in line with the strategy that shareholders have set for ADSI, is strengthening its commitment to make ADSI becoming the GCC leader in system integration.
The MOU was signed by the ADSI Chairman, H.E. Abdullah Al Darmaki, and SELEX Sistemi Integrati Director General, Mr. Lorenzo Mariani. The signature ceremony was witnessed by the ADSI Board Members and ADSI General Manager.
"This MOU will widen the area of support that ADSI is already providing to SELEX Sistemi Integrati in the UAE in the field of Combat System Integration. Two will be the immediate results of the MOU: 1. Following the successful involvement in Ghannatha and Baynunah Programs, ADSI will be called to support SELEX for the newly developed vessels that will be delivered shortly to the UAE Navy; 2. SELEX will subcontract to ADSI the on-site support activities of the Surveillance Radar System at Kuwait International Airport" commented Mr Mariani.
ADSI General Manager, Mr Andrea Barbagelata, said: "This is an important step in the company growth and shows that the shareholders acknowledge the quality of the work performed by ADSI and are willing to rely even more on ADSI in the future."
As a matter of fact the company has scored the fourth successful year in a row of growth and profitable results.
H.E. Abdullah Al Darmaki said "with a senior management composed by more than 50% Emirati managers, a staff of 50 engineers and technicians, and a growing rate above 15% every year, I trust ADSI is the ideal environment for incubating the new generation of Emirati managers and engineers in the field of systems integration.
