Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre, the authorised Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealer in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates, took centre stage at the opening of the Sharjah International Automobile Show by launching two of the Bespoke design team's latest collections.

"2012 has been a very good year for AGMC and Rolls-Royce. We have seen a healthy increase in sales that mirrors the improved financial landscape, and tremendous interest in Ghost, as well as a rejuvenated order book thanks to the arrival of the new Phantom Series II. We have also just recently inaugurated a new showroom in Sharjah, the Emirate has registered robust growth for Rolls-Royce sales, and has become an important market for the marque," said Mohammed El-Arishy, Brand Manager Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at AGMC.

The Sharjah International Automobile Show provides a fitting platform for the launch of the latest Bespoke collections. The show, which opened today and runs until 1 December 2012, gives visitors the chance to admire two of the latest collections that have been faithfully developed by the Bespoke design team at The Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England.

Making its world debut, the One Thousand and One Nights Ghost collection is the first chapter of a saga inspired by the incredible tales of the "Arabian Nights Entertainment". Considered as one of the region's most famous works of literature, the collection captures the essence of the tales in a series of two-tone paint schemes, with shades inspired by the warm colour palette of dusk and dawn, created exclusively by the Bespoke team in Goodwood, England.

Furthermore, the characteristic hand-painted coachlines express the Arabic words 'One Thousand and One Nights' and conclude in an elaborate design that gracefully frames the car's door handles. "The One Thousand and One Nights Ghost collection is based on the 2013 Ghost model and truly reflects the essence and culture of this region," said Mohammed El-Arishy. Chapters two and three will follow in the first and third quarter of 2013 and will in their part include more elaborate Bespoke elements heavily influenced by the Saga's quintessential, story within a story, flow.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé Aviator Collection registered its regional debut today. As the name suggests, the car's finishing is an Aviator Grey and features a distinguished matt bonnet, window and grille surround while the inside strongly reminiscences the look of a cockpit. Exclusivity remains with only seven cars available to the region in total.

Additionally for AGMC, 2013 will mark the 10th anniversary of the collaboration with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars which was faithfully resurrected in 2003 at the hands of BMW Group and rightfully claimed its position at the pinnacle of the ultra-luxury world. Throughout this past decade, AGMC and Rolls-Royce have set a number of milestones that have established the brand as the ultimate expression of luxury in the Emirate.
