Ahmed Azmy promoted to Executive Assistant Manager in Charge of Rooms at InterContinental Cairo Citystars

Simon Stamper Area General Manager InterContinental Hotels Group Citystars is pleased to announce the promotion of Ahmed Azmy from Director of Rooms Division to Executive Assistant Manager in charge of rooms division for InterContinental Cairo Citystars.

Ahmed brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the hotels and hospitality industry. He joined InterContinental Cairo Citystars in 2004 as Assistant Front Office Manager and was part of the pre-opening team.

Prior to this, he was Assistant Front Office Manager at Crowne Plaza Sharm El Sheikh and was part of the pre-opening team as well. Previously, he started his career at Semiramis InterContinental.

Simon Stamper states, "Ahmed has proven himself to be highly passionate about the luxury hotel industry and his 10-plus years of experience certainly make him an asset to InterContinental. We're confident Ahmed's remarkable leadership skills will continue to reaffirm InterContinental's position as one of the leading business hotels in Egypt."

In his new role, he will be responsible for the Front Office including Concierge, Business Centre, Guest Relations, instant service, airport services as well as LifeStyles Health Club and Spa, Housekeeping and Laundry departments.
