Opening of Air France renovated business lounge in Dubai

Air France's refurbished Business class lounge was officially inaugurated on Thursday September 13th 2012, in presence of his Excellency, Eric Giraud-Telme, Consul General of France to the UAE, and Mr. Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai airports.
Air France's new lounge also features shower facilities and a special business area with computer and internet access as well as free Wi-Fi.
"Our refurbished lounge brings the French touch and Art de Vivre to Dubai airport, along with a range of products and service innovations that will better serve our guests traveling from Dubai, in style and comfort. Our renovated lounge is another proof of Air France eagerness to invest in the UAE. It flows very naturally from the warm and cordial relationship that exists between the UAE and France. In that respect Dubai is a key destination in the Air France / KLM network. We are looking forward to offering the best range of travel options to our clients in the UAE, connecting to the Air France and KLM global network and providing even more comfort and relaxation," said, Mr. Frederic Gossot, Air France and KLM General Manager, to the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan.

"The new facility is a quality addition to Dubai International and will go a long way in boosting customer satisfaction at our airport. The partnership between Air France KLM and Dubai Airports goes back many years and it is no surprise then, that France is among the top 20 destination countries for Dubai International. In fact more than 856,000 passengers travelled between Dubai and French destinations last year, many of whom will now be able to experience the great hospitality and comfort that this facility offers," said Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports.
Air France's First and Business class customers can benefit from access to 500 lounges worldwide, including close to 50 Air France branded lounges, offering a wide range of services in a quiet, subdued setting, where they can spend their time before their flight or between two flights as they wish.
