Ajman launches surprise healthy food campaigns in schools

The municipality of Ajman has launched surprise campaigns targeting various school canteens based in the emirate to ensure healthy food is offered to school students, Gulf Today has reported. The campaign was launched in coordination with the Emergency Committee and the Ajman school district in order to ensure that school canteens strictly adhere to sanitary and health conditions and are all prepared to serve students with healthy food prepared while using healthy and safe cooking standards, said Humaid Al Mualla, director of public health and environment department at the municipality.
